When the external companion/support speaker is connected to the PA system through the Unswitched speaker jack, the audio can be heard both through the main PA system and the companion/support speaker.
A: Yes there is an automatic reset. Whenever a PowerPro is turned off, the previously set volume levels are wiped clean and reset to zero. This is a safety feature so you for instance don't accidentally turn the machine on at the same level when it was last used outdoors and you are inside this time.
A: The rechargeable battery inside the PowerPro has probably run out of power. It simply needs to be fully recharged (which takes about 8 hours) before it can be used on battery-only power. It can still operate however when it's being recharged.
A: The top part of the PowerPro™road case has a detachable compartment that is carpet-lined and can store laptop computers, cables and PA accessories that help presenters be heard such as wireless and hands-free microphones.
A: Yes. To record data/information into separate files on PowerPro™SD internal memory or SD card at one setting, simply press the “RECORD” button once to start recording; at the desired stopping point for the first file, press and hold the “RECORD” button for about 3 seconds to save the file. Repeat the process to record multiple files at one setting. Click here to read more about Digital Recordings.
A: To pause during the process of recording to the PowerPro™SD internal memory or SD card, simply press the “RECORD” button once. To resume recording, just press the “RECORD” button again. Click here to read more about Digital Recordings.
A: Yes, with the PA919SD it is possible to play a CD and simultaneously sing along to the music through the MIC input. There is also a Voice Priority switch that when turned on, automatically lowers the background music so announcements can be heard.
A: Make sure you select a channel on the PA919 receiver ‘A’ that matches with a channel on one of the handheld Q319 wireless microphones. For the second Q-316, select a different channel than with the first mic and match that with a channel on receiver ‘B’ on the speaker. You must have the exact channel on the receiver as on the wireless microphone or beltpack transmitter with hands-free mic you want to use.
A: The PA919SD has only two built-in wireless receivers, and cannot accommodate processing a third frequency for another wireless mic. If you already have your own wireless mic and want to use that instead of the Califone handheld or hands-free mics with a beltpack transmitter, you can purchase an external receiver for your own wireless mic connect that to the PA919SD through one of the wired mic connectors (connecting it that way will give you the same volume control over the wireless mic.)
A: Both the PA919 and the PA919SD) includes two 12 volt, sealed and maintenance-free, lead acid batteries. The rechargeable battery has a one year warranty.
A: The height of the 3 positions for the retractable handle of the PowerPro series is 5”, 9”, and 13” from the handle reset level; these options make it easy for all users to roll the units around.
A: The Voice Priority feature means the PowerPro series PA system will automatically lower the music volume for the presenter or spokesperson to communicate with the audience and after the message is communicated, the volume of the music will automatically return to the original sound level.
A: The volume of the Hands-Free Wireless Microphone can be adjusted from the Beltpack Transmitter and the receiver of the PowerPro or PowerPro SD. Note: Please ensure the volume control on the beltpack transmitter and the PowerPro/PowerPro SD reach a good balance to generate the volume you desire.
